Radio Salaam Shalom presenters Naomi Levav (‘Crossing Cultures’) and Shagufta Iqbal (‘The Shabs and G Show’) joined Station Manager Kyle Hannan at the world-famous Reform Club in London for the launch of the UK Friends of the Abraham Fund Initiatives.
After an inspiring series of speeches from the guest speakers, it was time to network! Over canapes and conversation with intercultural musical collective Psychosemitic, as well as local representatives of the Neve Shalom/Wahaat As Salaam ‘Oasis of Peace’ village in Israel, the seeds of some exciting international cooperative projects were planted.
Coming soon: news of a plan for Radio Salaam Shalom to establish a physical presence in Israel as well as in the West Bank itself.
